OUT OF FOCUS is a three-piece alternative rock band from Newcastle, NSW, formed in late 2024 and performing consistently since April 2025. The band features Ethan Gunther on guitar and vocals, Cooper Broadbent on bass, and Cody Neville on drums. Together, they combine the punch of modern rock with the depth of indie influences, creating a sound that moves naturally between high-energy, riff-driven tracks and more melodic, reflective moments.Known for their engaging live shows and strong commitment to original music, OUT OF FOCUS focuses on delivering performances that feel both powerful and genuine.With a 2026 East Coast tour locked in across March and April, the band continues to build momentum and connect with new audiences.
